Everything just placebo? For ten years, all the well-done reviews on homeopathy have come to the conclusion that homeopathy is a placebo treatment. A statement that is repeated again and again by the media, as in the summer of 2010 by the mirror. Rainer Lüdtke (graduate in statisticians; Carstens Foundation) said in his lecture on June 3 during the homeopathy congress of the German Central Association of Homeopathic Doctors (DZVhÄ) in Aachen, "that the current research results can and must be read differently". Lüdtke provides an overview of the latest international research results and shows that the picture that science draws from homeopathy is significantly more nuanced than often presented. "From a scientific point of view, a general rejection of the method is just as unsustainable as general promises of salvation," is his conclusion.

The 161st annual conference of the DZVhÄ from June 2nd to 4th at the Eurogress Aachen is entitled "Homeopathy without limits? Borderline experiences of medical homeopathy in science and practice ”.
